FAQs
Here’s a list of the questions that customers have asked us along with a few points of our own that we thought would be helpful to know. If you have a question that isn’t on the list, please send us an email at support@fuzioncalculator.com and we’ll get back to you within 2 business days.
How does Fuzion work?
- Fuzion works with Microsoft Excel ® 2003 or higher, running on Windows XP or Vista (both 32 bit & 64 bit versions). But you don’t have to be an expert Excel user to use Fuzion. Just make sure Excel is set to run macros then enter the numbers and click – that’s all there is to it, Fuzion does all the work.
- Fuzion has three sections: personal variables (where you enter your client’s personal information), mortgage variables (where you enter the details of the mortgage product), and results (which displays the results of the information in the first two sections).
- You can look at different options for your clients by using the ‘What if?” feature. When you create a mortgage option on the first page, click on the COPY TO WHAT-IF SUMMARY button. This adds the mortgage option to a report. You can view or print the “What if?” summary. And to do another summary, simply click on the ERASE WHAT-IF SUMMARY button to start again with a clean sheet.
- Fuzion has been designed to be easy to use. All fields that require data entry are in grey. There are red triangles on fields to display on-demand help for those fields. Fuzion lets you know if there is a problem. For example, if the ratios are too high, or information is missing, or if default insurance should or shouldn’t be included and even if default insurance is not available, the fields that require attention will be displayed in red.
